Description
EntryPoint 1-Factor Readers are available in Contact, Contactless and Dual Interface models to operate with industry standard Wiegand and OSDP based access control systems. EntryPoint Readers upgrade existing systems to be interoperable with all ISO and FIPS-201 smart card credentials.

- Federal Government Standards specify the PIN be sent to the CAC/PIV credential and not to the access system. Convention in the security industry is to send the Pin to the system controller. IDFACTORS default to Government standards but the Readers also support Pin to system which is configurable in the Reader.

Description
TrustPoint Contact, Contactless Readers and Dual Interface Readers are equipped with a FIPS-140 Crypto Module. The Reader issues a PKI challenge-response to verify the Card Authentication Key (CAK) over either the contact or contactless interface.
All TrustPoint Readers integrate with industry standard Wiegand or OSDP based access control systems, enabling an agency to upgrade existing systems to utilize PIV & CAC per standards and guidance.
TrustPoint delivers the most secure form of single factor authentication available per NIST 800-116.

Description
TrustPoint 2-Factor Readers are available in Contact, Contactless or Dual-Interface models. They interface with industry standard Wiegand & OSDP based access control systems enabling an agency to upgrade existing systems to utilize all government issued PIV, CAC, TWIC & PIV-I credentials.
The Readers can be set to 1-Factor to use the CAK over the Contact or Contactless Interface. In 2-Factor mode only the Contact Interface is active and the Reader uses the PIN to Card and the PAK for authentication.
TrustPoint delivers the most secure form of two-factor authentication available per FIPS-201 & NIST 800-116.
